$100,000 - $120,000 + 8% Annual Bonus
A global specialty chemicals company with nearly a century of innovation is growing its Ohio R&D operation. This is a hands-on team lead role sitting at the intersection of R&D and manufacturing, focused on turning new adhesive, sealant, and coating formulations into scalable, production-ready processes.
You will lead a team of 3 engineers and technicians while staying actively involved in day-to-day process development and troubleshooting.
What You Will Do
- Scale manufacturing processes from lab to pilot to production
- Troubleshoot mixing, dispensing, and handling of complex materials
- Lead and mentor a small process development team
- Collaborate across R&D, manufacturing, and quality
- Drive efficiency, cost, and process robustness improvements
What You Bring
- Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- 3 to 8 years in process development, scale-up, or manufacturing support
- Experience with complex materials (polymers, filled systems, pastes, or slurries)
- Strong problem-solving skills and interest in developing others
Compensation and Benefits
- $100,000 - $130,000 base salary
- 8% annual bonus
